Studio Policies

Kindermusik with Jillian Studio Policies

Although you may join at any time, please register early as class sizes are capped.  Registering two weeks before each Term begins ensures that your digital Home Materials will be available when the Term begins.  If you enrol after the beginning of the term, tuition will be pro-rated.

Fees are due before the commencement of the Term.  Alternatively, if you choose a payment plan, instalments are charged over three fortnightly payments from the beginning of the Term.

We take Visa Card and Mastercard in the studio or over the phone.  Cash and bank transfer are also accepted.

Twins, Triplets and Second Child Discount

Kindermusik with Jillian is pleased to offer a discount for twins, triplets and children from the same family in the SAME class.  The Second child receives a 10% discount on tuition fees with the third child receiving a huge 15% discount off tuition.

Cancellation

Term fees are non-refundable, however, credit toward future classes may be given if there are extenuating circumstances, such as serious illness.  Any refunds will be considered on an individual basis and home materials are non refundable once distributed.

Illness

It’s an unfortunate fact of life, children get sick.  Particularly at this age when their immune systems are developing.  If your little one is obviously unwell, we ask that you use good sense and not bring them to class.  Our rule of thumb is that if they have a temperature, have a green nose and/or a fruity cough, it will always be better to keep them at home.  If your teacher notices a child is unwell we reserve the right to recommend you take them home.  There will always be plenty of opportunity to come to another class during the week.

Makeup Classes

Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness.  I will notify you of cancellation and the scheduled makeup date.  We would encourage students who have missed a class to makeup that class on another day during the week.

Choosing a Program

The age recommendations for the Kindermusik programs have been carefully chosen to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way.  As a result we feel it is important for your child to be at least the minimum age for the program you are enrolling in.  However, we consider that each child is an individual & we assess where they will be best settled.

We do ask that toys, drinks and dummies be kept out of site and that snacks are finished before coming into class.

During the class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be active, present and do the activities with your child.  It’s not unusual for a child to attend several classes before they feel comfortable enough to participate.  Don’t worry – what your child is taking in often comes out at home.  If you actively participate in our class with your little one, settling will be smooth & won’t take too long.

Public Holidays and Pupil Free Days

We do not hold classes on Australia Day, Anzac Day or Ekka show holiday in Logan.  We will run classes as usual on all other days.  We also enjoy classes on Pupil Free days.

Grandparents & Visiting Relatives

Grandparents, Mums, Dads or visiting relatives that don’t usually attend class are welcome to come into the classroom at any time. We love to welcome grandparents into our classes as it brings something beautiful into our time together.

Participation

We welcome you into our classroom and we ask that you treat everyone with the care and respect that you would also like to be treated with.  We all understand that sometimes accidents happen & by participating you agree that you will not hold the Teachers or Business Owners responsible for any damages or expenses due to any accident or mishap.
